What length of trail is needed for a Fit Trail?

Length of trail greatly depends on your needs. Stations need not be spaced far apart and can be grouped in small areas. A 1/4 mile trail is recommended for most 10 station systems.

How far apart is each station required?

There are no requirements on space, it depends on the lay of your trail space. No two spaces between stations need be alike.

How much area do you need for each station?

That varies with each station. Some stations require no more space than what is needed for the sign and the user. Some have more equipment and may require up to 10'x10, 10x15', or 20'x10' of space.

Where can I find a Fit Trail near me?

With thousands of Fit-Trail systems in use all over the world, many on private property or having been sold to other than the end user, we are unable to provide specific locations available for public use. Please inquire of your local park department, and request a Fit-Trail system be installed near you.

What do I need to install a Fit-Trail?

Basic tools, consisting of socket wrenches, hammer, level, shovel & post hole digger. A 10 station Fit Trail typically requires 55 (90-lb) bags of premixed cement and approximately 30 to 50 man hours. A 20 station needs about 110 bags (90-lb) and 80 to 100 man hours to install.
